As with most cocktail recipes it is very hard to track down the original inventor, but its believed to be around the early 1940's. It is claimed by John G. Martin that himself and Jack Morgan invented the cocktail and were the first to make it in their Los Angeles British pub, The Cock 'n' Bull.ingredients
- Double Dutch Ginger Beer
- 90ml Pineapple juice
- 15ml Fresh lime juice
- Mint leaves and sprig
- Lime wedge
- Crushed ice

Method
- Muddle 6 fresh mint leaves and add 15ml fresh lime juice
- Add 90ml Pineapple Juice and load up ¾ full with crushed ice
- Fill to the top with Double Dutch Ginger Beer and stir gently to combine
- Garnish by adding a sprig of mint and a lime wedge
