The role:

An opportunity for an Assistant Accountant role within our finance team has been created, reporting to the Finance Manager, this varied role supports the finance function of the business.

This a part time position (5 hours/day), which can grow to Full Time.

This role is based at home and will require travelling into London a few times a year for F2F meetings. (Travel costs are paid)

Key responsibilities:

• Processing of sales and supplier invoices
• Allocation of cash receipts and payments against sales and purchase ledgers, including reconciliation
• Daily, weekly, and Monthly reconciliations of the bank accounts and cash update
• Assisting in Cashflow forecast for next 3-month prediction.
• Preparation of weekly payment runs in all currencies.
• Uploading files to SharePoint to maintain accurate records.
• Oversee AR and AP and create efficiency in the process.
• Preparing debtors ageing and chasing overdue invoices
• Monitoring and controlling month end accruals and prepayments.
• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts, including preparation of Balance sheet and P&L reconciliations for review.
• Preparation and reconciliation of VAT monthly.
• Review and post intercompany recharges.
• Support with Group requirement as and when.
• Prepare /Support on Month end duties, processing journal, running report, reconciliation.
• Other ad hoc duties as required by line manager and Business.
• Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedures.
• Contribute to department and organisation special projects as required.
• Continuously strive to develop personal role in the organisation to maximise benefit brought to the Finance function in general.

Your experience:

• Attention to detail is essential.
• Strong organisational skills
• Previous experience of working in financial department, ideally 5 years+
• Previous experience of NetSuite is an added benefit.
• Familiar with working in an international environment a benefit
• Strong level of Microsoft office skills

The role:

As Export Manager you will be a global brand ambassador for the brand, you will unlock new regions and as well as develop existing markets we already work with to encourage further distribution and opportunity. Bring brand & category insight to life, and of course add some wow factor (try new stuff, bring the fun!)

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and grow the Export channel in your markets- be resourceful and employ innovative solutions to deliver value, gross margin and volume targets.
• Manage terms, agreements, price increases and promotional plans - develop commercial solutions to issues.
• Full account management of existing export partners with incentivisation on activating and growing existing markets
• Responsible for business development – nurturing our smaller markets and supporting them to reach their potential is crucial in this role
• Drive the brand positioning of Double Dutch in international markets; further positioning our brand as differentiated and values-driven to support premium positioning. 
• Ensure that you have fluid communication with your key accounts in order to support their needs and ensure they are well briefed and educated on product knowledge and menus
• Making sure that each distributor has the right tools available to drive growth of Double Dutch
• New business development of new high growth potential markets, owning full launch and introduction of the brand including setting KPIs and working on a regular basis with the distributor to follow up on plans and creating incentives and offering support.

What we're looking for:

• Experience with distributors and export partners within the drinks environment- Someone who understands how distributors work and how to grow a brand in the drinks industry.
• At least 3 years of sales or marketing experience in the FMCG sector.
• A motivated self-starter, comfortable with autonomous decision making but a team player who understands when to escalate & consult with the team.
• You are able to roll up your sleeves and operate in a fast-paced environment.

• Solid commercial expertise, you can think commercially at all times - have good excel skills and have had full P&L responsibility before.
• You are proactive and have an innovative and creative approach to idea generation and implementation

Your position:

You will ensure that the brand is widely represented in the hospitality industry as well as directly to consumers. This through prospecting in bars,
hotels, restaurants.

You are a driven salesperson who raises awareness of the brand. You have a passion for the drinks industry and ensure that the ambitious targets in Belgium are met. You will work closely with the distributor and team in the UK.

Your tasks:

• Drives sales in the on-trade and hotels.
• Working closely with brewers and drinks retailers.
• Often on the road for prospecting.
• Support, train and facilitate the distributors' sales team.
• Drive activation plans with ontrade customers such as creating visibility, organising events, etc.
• Build impactful partnerships to increase customer base.
