Applications are open for this year's Female Bartending Scholarship

We're super excited to announce that a second edition of our scholarship and mentoring programme is officially open for applications!

After the huge success of last year we're launching our Female Bartending Scholarship for another year and we couldn't imagine a better day to launch it than International Women's Day.

We're bringing the best in the industry together to give up-and-coming female talent the best possible trainings and support.

With only 8 spaces available this year we're ready to support and encourage a super new cohort of scholars in our scholarship this year.

Have a read of Raissa's comments here to hear just how excited we are: "We are so excited to be relaunching our scholarship for 2022. Our inaugural year was a huge success, and we couldn't be more delighted to be kicking off again. We've curated an amazing line up of mentors from bartending and beyond to give our cohort a real mix of sessions, providing content above and beyond their day to day."

Successful applicants will take part in a three-month programme, a mix of virtual and face to face education from some of the most exciting names in the drinks industry, complimented by experts in career development, branding and wellness.

Have a read of what Courtney had to say from her experience last year "This well-run course has helped me develop my approach to drinks creation as well as menu development. I do not think I would be where I am in my career today without the opportunity I had with this scholarship. It opens your eyes to a wider range of important subjects and develops your skills in areas such as mental health within the workplace and business/team management."

Open to women aged 18 and over who are already working within the industry or are looking to break into bartending, potential scholars can apply on the Double Dutch website by filling in the application form. Entries are open until end of May.
